Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others

Gandhi Museum

An extraordinary human being, an exemplary leader, a great visionary and the Father of Our Nation, the great Mahatma Gandhi may have left the physical world but remains a guiding light to our country. Mere words are not enough to describe the man who gave us the gift of freedom through truth and non-violence. Standing tall beside him, being a source of strength through all the struggles was another great person, his life partner Kasturba Gandhi. Chronicling a part of their lives through our museum is a small way of paying tribute to them and preserving our nation's magnificent history.

Established in the year 1993, the museum presents a visual biography of Gandhi. It exhibits photographs, paintings, quotations and replicas of the articles used by him. It serves as a learning centre for students, researchers, teachers and anyone interested in the life of Mahatma Gandhi.

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.
